Chemical Damp Proof Course (DPC) injection is a method used to treat rising damp in masonry walls by creating a barrier to prevent moisture from traveling upward through the structure. This process involves injecting a specially formulated chemical solution into pre-drilled holes along the base of a wall. The chemical mixture penetrates the masonry, reacting with the materials to form a hydrophobic barrier that effectively blocks the capillary action of water. Once injected, the solution forms a lasting damp-proof course, preventing moisture from rising and causing further damage, such as damp staining and efflorescence.

Chemical DPC injection is a popular solution for older buildings without a physical damp-proof membrane, offering an efficient and non-invasive way to address damp problems, especially in situations where installing a traditional physical DPC would be challenging or impractical.
